Handcrafted run of custom Adidas Equipment phone straps
Adidas Originals approached me to help shape a limited-edition member-exclusive pack: a custom carabiner and phone strap modular system under the historic Adidas Equipment (EQT) label.
These were not for retail, but part of an exclusive capsule to be raffled via the Confirmed app - positioning them as hyper-exclusive collectibles within Adidas's lifestyle ecosystem.

The ask wasn’t just construction. It was elevating a utilitarian item into a cultural object. Something members would covet, wear, and integrate into their style.
As the creative lead,
I managed both design strategy and production:
- Created original design mockups for the strap & carabiner combo
- Sourced custom manufacturing and created material spec sheets for white-label feasibility
- Oversaw visual brand integration - ensuring Adidas EQT mark was central but subtle
- Built moodboards and presentation decks to align brand + production teams
- Manufactured and delivered exclusive run of custom phone strap kits
Design Language
- Rooted in Adidas EQT’s DNA: purposeful, minimal, technical
- Strap: woven nylon in core Equipment palette (black/gray/teal)
- Carabiner: matte anodized black or silver, laser-printed EQT logo
- Keyring: Rubberized swivel keyring with double-sided 3D debossed Adidas Original + Adidas Equipment logos
Deliverables
- Small production run of fully spec’d product kit
- Vendor-ready mockups + dielines
- Brand-aligned visuals + storytelling assets
- Designed product concept for internal buy-in
Prototyping
The final product was slated for limited private distribution only - rewarding brand loyalists with a physical object that felt both rare and functional.
As a creative director, I move fluidly from design decks to sourcing to storytelling - always grounding in brand voice and cultural resonance.
